How to play Tolpa

Play with your whole group on your phones: all you need is phones and a link.

1. One person creates a room. Open the site and tap “Create room”. You get a 4-letter code and a QR code.
2. Everyone joins. Point the phone camera at the QR code, open the link, or enter the code on the home page.
3. The host starts the match. In the lobby the host can pick games, the number of rounds and add bots.
4. Play! Each game explains itself in one line before it starts. Points are added after every round.

Shared screen

Open the “Shared screen” link from the lobby on a TV, laptop or tablet. It shows the board, scores and the winner big for everyone — while phones stay in your hands as controllers.

Phone or computer

Everything works on both. On a phone you tap, or hold anywhere and drag — a joystick appears; on a computer use the mouse, arrow keys or WASD and space.

If the connection drops

Your place is kept: the phone reconnects on its own and you're back in the same room.
