Terms
These terms apply to the Tolpa website and game (tolpa.app). By playing, you agree to them.
About the service
Tolpa is a free browser game for a group of friends: everyone plays on their own phone, and a shared screen (a TV or a laptop) shows the game. No sign-up is needed — pick a nickname and join a room.
How to use it
- Play for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not disrupt the service: do not overload it with requests, fake input or results, or look for vulnerabilities without agreeing it with us first.
- Nicknames and room names must not contain insults, threats, anything illegal, or other people's personal data. You choose your nickname and are responsible for it.
- We may remove a player or a room that breaks these rules or spoils the game for others.
Availability
The service is provided "as is". Rooms are temporary and may disappear after an update or a failure, games and rules change, and we may change or stop the service. We do our best to keep everything running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or any particular result.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profit from using the service. This does not limit the rights that mandatory law in your country gives you.
Rights to the materials
The games, design, texts and the Tolpa mark belong to the author of the project. You are welcome to link to the site and show the game to friends. Copying the games or the site as a whole, or passing them off as your own, is not allowed.
Data
What data is collected and for how long it is kept is described on the Privacy page.
Changes and governing law
The terms may be updated; the current version is always on this page, with its date at the bottom. If you keep using the service after a change, we consider that you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of Estonia; mandatory consumer rights in your country remain in force.
